The digital touring kit includes the following:

  • A Y10 UF Touring aerial
  • A Caramast to secure the aerial to your caravan or motorhome or a Freestanding deluxe tripod to mount the aerial away from the vehicle. The deluxe tripod has a swivel head feature as well as being fully extendable to enable your aerial to reach optimum height and direction.
  • 10m of cable with pre-made connections
  • An optional Terrestrial receiver for those without freeview built into the TV.

Please note that Freeview reception varies greatly and the number of channels available to your depends on location.

Freesat have announced they will carry all of the BBC’s 24 live HD Olympic channels throughout the London 2012 Olympics, offering the full range of live BBC Olympics coverage, bringing every Olympic sport from every Olympic venue. See our 12v Freesat receiver suitable for touring. In addition to the 24 temporary BBC HD Olympics channels listed in the Freesat TV Guide, Freesat viewers will also be able to access the live 'streams' via the BBC Red Button service. As long as your unit is left in standby at night (not powered off or left on) your unit should pick these channels up automatically, or alternatively you can manually retune when they are launched.
