Delivery

Delivery of the Sky Gnome - Portable Music System is made by Initial City Link or Royal Mail. Deliveries are made within 1 - 4 working days providing the item is in stock at our warehouse. We can provide a Tracking Number for Deliveries made by Initial City Link upon request.

Returns

We hope you to be really happy with your purchase but in case you need to return anything, we're here to make things as easy and straight-forward as possible for you.

That's why we are open and honest with our 7 days returns policy - and that's 7 days from when you received the order - in line with the Distance Selling Regulations.
All you have to do is return the item/s to us or we can arrange this on your behalf, normally within 5-7 days at a cost of £10.
If the item has been kept in its original, packaged condition, we will offer a full refund, including the original shipping but not including the shipping incurred to return the goods to us, or a replacement if preferred.

I took my touring kit up to my sons house today, (I cannot receive Sky, too many trees), and got the signal at my second attempt. Tremendous. Brand New in Box Sky Gnome in funky orange.

The Gnome is a wireless transmitter and receiver for listening to radio, music, news or TV broadcast from a Sky, Sky+ or Sky+HD receiver, or from any other music source like Freesat, Freeview, BT Vision, YouView, Talk Talk TV, Virgin Media, DVD, HiFi and so on.. Connect the base station to your music source of choice and then turn on the Gnome in another room to enjoy surprisingly loud and clear sound from inbuilt stereo speakers. Great wireless range allows the base to be placed inside and the Gnome outside up to several hundred metres away. If you are using this in the home with a Sky receiver then the Gnome includes a large backlit LCD screen for navigation, and can control the channel change on the Sky box, however the range for channel changing is limited to approx 10m for obvious reasons. 

How Does It Work?

Provides streaming of up to 100+ digital radio stations on Satellite from your existing Digibox^ to the portable Gnome receiver.

The Gnome is ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, studies, garages or wherever you want good reliable sound from your digital box.

Ideal too for enjoying the outdoor lifestyle when sunshine permits. imagine... BBQ, a few drinks and some decent music outdoors - sounds like heaven.

Great for ex-pats requiring access to English radio stations via satellite.

The gnome allows you to control many features of your Sky digibox and has its own independent volume control which drives its own stereo speakers or via the line out or headphone socket, with an inbuilt carry handle and also the provision for mains power to be attached/charging. It has built in rechargeable batteries that last up to 8 hours volume dependent. Makes it a totally self contined unit.

^The base station accepts input from twin RCA inputs (Red and White). A 3.5mm jack to twin RCA lead would be required to connect devices like IPods or MP3 players.

The sad fact is these are no longer made anymore, in fact they havent been for over four years. SDS have stocks of the last of the line, and once gone they will not be available anymore. True as of Nov 2012.
